What parents say
★★★★★Such a cool new way to keep my kids engaged yet off their screens
★★★★★The surprise on her face was priceless to hear her name and special personal items in her life all intertwined in new stories! I love these. She didn't want to stop creating more and more stories with them.
★★★★★Our 3yr old son is obsessed with this! He has always loved listening to stories but now that he gets to create them and add himself to them, using the DIY blocks, has made all his dreams come true.
We also love this as parents because of the kid-safe AI experience and the fact that they are completely screen free!
★★★★★The DIY Blocks are a huge hit in our house! We love being able to choose elements for the stories we create with our playgeni. They are incredibly easy to program, and we especially enjoy being able to change them up whenever we want, providing endless fun!
★★★★☆We have really loved the playgeni. My kids love creating story tiles and putting themselves in the story. I love that it is screen free. My only critique is that my kids lose interest when we’ve used the same tiles over and over again.
★★★★★Awesome imagination builder!
★★★★★I love that I can switch from English to Spanish and make sure my child is spending time building imagination in both languages.
★★★★★I've got to tell you my son is OBSESSED with the playgeni!
★★★★★My kids were immediately fascinated by the DIY feature, but we also used and enjoyed the prewritten story blocks included in the Discovery Pack - especially 'Sammy, Rainbow,' & 'Gravity!'
★★★★★My 5 year old had a friend over and they spent time together building a leprechaun trap for Saint Patrick’s day ... incorporate a good versus evil leprechaun and both my 7 year old and her friend as characters. They thought it was the coolest thing.
★★★★★Such a cool new way to keep my kids engaged yet off their screens

FAQ
What age is the storymaker for?
The storymaker is designed for kids ages 3+. Parents can adjust age, vocabulary level, story length, and learning goals in the app as their child grows.
What comes in the box, and do I need to buy a book to start?
Your storymaker includes three story blocks and a USB-C cable and charger. It works out of the box. Books add new worlds and more blocks to mix.
Does it need my phone to work?
Use the playgeni app to connect and configure your storymaker. Saved stories play on the device without your phone.
Does playgeni use AI?
Yes. The playgeni generative story engine creates new audio adventures from physical blocks, within story worlds crafted by children’s authors. Parents choose personalization settings in the app.
What happens to the stories my kid makes?
Stories are saved on the device so children can listen to them again, including when they are offline.
Can we use it in the car or on a plane?
Yes. The storymaker needs Wi-Fi only to create a brand new story. Once a story exists it is saved on the device and plays anywhere — car, plane, grandparents’ house — with no connection at all.
